I feel very fortunate to be an orthodonist.  My team is a wonderful group of talented and skilled women, who make our office a warm and friendly place.  It is rewarding to see the transformation patients go through with their treatment.  I couldn't be more blessed for all this profession has given me.

Education and Continuing Education

For my dental education, I attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. I completed my orthodontic education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Though my formal education is complete, my learning hasn’t stopped. In order to stay current with emerging methods, I attend numerous continuing education courses and seminars every year. These courses also allow me to network with other orthodontists and help us learn from each other.

As a part of my continuing education, I am an active member of the following professional organizations:

In the Office

It is a true pleasure getting to know my patients and their families. I enjoy hearing about their day, chatting and laughing with them, and discovering what makes them tick.

My team is the BEST because they are willing to help each other to ensure the office runs smoothly. We share the common goal to make each patient’s experience exceptional!  Laughter is often heard throughout the office.  We all enjoy our patients' milestones and especially their new smiles when they have completed treatment.

Family and Community

I was raised on my families' dairy farm in New Vienna, Iowa with my 10 brothers and sisters. I moved to Omaha more than 20 years ago and consider it the perfect place to work and raise my family.

My husband Stan and I have three fantastic children. Hannah is an elementary school teacher.  John is currently studying pre-med and our youngest Luke is growing too fast.  He is in middle school and keeps us busy with his sports, music, and other activities.

I believe we all should support our local charities and give back to our community.  My contributions are focused on local school and church fundraisers.  Participating in the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure is something I look forward to each year.  The Hope Center and the Open Door Mission are organizations I actively support.  I feel privileged to be an Omaha orthodontist and I am happy when my team and I give back to the local community.
